P.S. We Love This: Everyday Minerals

We like natural products. It's as simply as that. No hidden chemicals that could tear up your skin or soak into your body. Everyday Minerals is one of the solutions. While cosmetics may be soaringly high in the price points, Everyday Minerals is as affordable as it gets. Our favorite products? The matte eyeshadows which start at $4.50/each. They have colors that will fit for your everyday needs and our picks out of their collection are: Everlasting Love and Stay Cool.

Their brushes are also 100% cruelty free...meaning they use synthetic hair! All of their brushes (both for face/cheek) are made out of bamboo and we just are in awe!

If you want to try out some of Everyday Minerals for yourself, take a look at their color collections. We're just adoring all of their products and can't wait to stock up!

Giveaway: The Impossible Project (Camera + Film)

We've never been so excited about a giveaway as much as this very special one. Our friends over at The Impossible Project has given us a Polaroid 600 camera and a pack of their new COOL FILM (also fit for the camera) to hand out to one of our readers.

Let us tell you just a little something... The Impossible Project is an incredible innovation which picked up the remains of Polaroid when the company shut down its factory in 2008. IP has been the only source of film for classic Polaroid cameras since and we are just in love. The Zooey team uses IP on all of its shoots, which is why you see some scans of our snapshots around the Internet. Each time a photo is taken using either the SX-70 or 600 camera, we feel more passion for photography. In an era of the digital age, we forget about things that brought us to where we are today. So, instead of discarding our old cameras, we make good use of them. We have to thank IP for their hard work in delivering fantastic film. No, this isn't a paid post...just our honesty at its best.

We want our readers to share our love for instant art too. So how do you win this camera and pack of film? Guidelines are below (and it's simple, we swear!):

1. You must be a US resident and 18-years-old or older. 2. You must be on Twitter and be following Zooey Magazine, if you haven't followed us yet...do so now! 3. Comment on this page as to what would be your first IP shot using this camera and film pack. Include your full name and your Twitter username. 4. Simply retweet our giveaway page and we'll pick a winner next week on Thursday, July 26, 2012.

If you just cannot wait, visit The Impossible Project on Twitter and shop on their official website!

Approximate value of this giveaway: $187.79

This giveaway is now inactive and the winner is Maria (LittleTreeVtg)!

P.S. We Love This: BonLook Glasses

If there's one thing we can love, it's people. And that's exactly what BonLook is all about...its customers and its oh-so-cute staff! Honestly, have you seen the crew behind BonLook? They're adorable.

BonLook produces glasses...surely more affordable than your own optometrist's clinic. Most of all, these glasses (both prescription and sunglasses) are rad. Do we have a lack of vocabulary? No. BonLook is just rad. Best word to describe BonLook, we believe. If you love all things vintage, and we do, this is surely for you. If you're going to be wearing such a necessary accessory from morning to night, why not do it in style? Our favorite from their collections? The Tortoise and the Burgundy sunglasses.

And BonLook just came out with new polarized glasses (audience roars!). Again, they're so affordable we might pocket more than two. All styles are available polarized and ranges from $100-200.

The only thing they should work on? A kids' line! We want our kids to look just as cute as us (hush, don't tell the kids we said that!).

For more of BonLook, visit their fun website!

What do you think of their glasses? Ready to grab one for yourself? Let us know!
