Zooey Magazine, Copa Vida Copa Vida is based in Pasadena (Old Town), and it is the most amazing place for coffee and tea lovers. What they sell isn't exactly just a drink...it's an experience. The Copa Vida team put so much thought into creating their store - from the height of their furnitures, to the size and amount of ice cubes they put in their iced drinks. Their passion is incredible, and we were so excited to try more of their drinks after stumbling upon their cafe before a shoot.

When we walked in...our immediate thoughts were, who designed the interior? It's bright, spacious, but not empty. We were sold.

We ordered some lattes, sat down at the counter table by the window...and our first sip was heavenly. Since then, we couldn't wait to come back and try more.

Their coffee grinds come selectively from Ethiopia, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz. Each cup of coffee is more than just about drinking it. Their slogan reads "coffee, tea, life" which translates to the community experience they wish to offer through their coffee and tea. You can come in, purchase a cup, and sit down for a friendly conversation with friends and family.

So whenever you're in town, stop by. It's the perfect place for not only meetings, but for that afternoon date you've been dying to have.
