Explore Together | The Pie Hole (DTLA)

"Explore Together" is our new guide on our family-friendly locations all over the world. To introduce this feature, we took the Vuong family to our neighborhood favorite: The Pie Hole in Downtown Los Angeles. It's our favorite short stop for a snack and of course, delicious coffee!

Menu Favorites:

The kids love the Chicken Pot pie, Chocolate Crostata, Maple Custard, and even the Mac N' Cheese pie. For the parents, we recommend the Earl Grey Tea pie and even Mexican Chocolate pie. While parents drink their coffee, kids can get freshly made hot chocolate (with steamed milk). Be sure to ask for fun latte art!

What's Neat:

Many of the charming elements of The Pie Hole are the framed recipes on the wall, the kraft paper roll up menu at the registrar, and the humble atmosphere. It's a place for relaxing, exploring, and even people-watching. We love sitting outside to soak in the sun and even have a chat with neighboring customers.

Traction Avenue has also become a raving popular street for Los Angeles-goers. Nearly every wall on the street (and around the corners) are painted with beautiful murals by local artists. It's the ultimate photo opportunity.
