Office Living | Mapiful

Our office space is a constant work in progress, mostly because our minds change so often. We keep our walls white, blank, and empty - simply for self-imagination. Other than our Harry Potter art (that is still on sale over at Nan Lawson's website), we don't have much hanging. After some contemplation, we decided that we needed something that encapsulates our dream.

Portland is probably our most favorite place to visit, and one day, we hope to pack up and station there. That might be in the far distance, but it's still something we daydream about. So, we set out to find a beautiful map of Portland to hang over our play corner (which is also a new addition to our space!). We stumbled upon Mapiful, a custom map maker, and fell in love. It was so easy to make, and has so many neat options too. If you have a particular place you love - whether or a spot in the park or even your home, you can pinpoint the exact location right onto your map!

Our Portland map was printed - simple, beautiful, and clean. Just how we like our decor, and we couldn't be more pleased.

C'mon, how perfect is this? And that about sums up on wall decor... for now.

Office Living | The Impossible Project Wall

Over the course of 3 years, we've been shooting and collecting Impossible Project film. We love the beauty of having an old Polaroid camera on set to photograph some behind-the-scenes shots. Within those 3 years, we've piled over 300 frames.

So, what else to do but use them as decor? Our amazing intern Crystal Rivera and photography editor Roneil Chavez helped to display 324 Impossible Project shots on one of our office walls. Each frame tells a story from our magazine journey, and there's nothing more incredible than stepping back to look at what we've created... it's 324 tales to remember and share.

What do you do with your film? How do you display them?

Office Living | Preview

About a month ago, we moved into a new office located in the Art District (DTLA). It's a concrete 1200 sq. ft. rectangular room with endless opportunities for set up and decorating, but that also means creativity could be stunted by that very same idea. We didn't know where to put certain things as we began setting up, but slowly and surely, everything is coming together.

We're still moving things around, so we cannot yet share you the photos of such madness. But, here is a preview that can be a feast for your interior decor appetite. Be sure to keep checking back as we make progress!

We've also shared vendor links below as well.
